NOMHA and SD83 Work Experience Partnership

NOMHA & SD83 announce formal partnership for student work experience

The North Okanagan Minor Hockey Association (NOMHA) is proud to announce a new formal partnership with School District 83 (SD83) to support student learning through hands-on experience in minor hockey operations.

This exciting collaboration gives SD83 high school students the opportunity to take part in official work experience placements with NOMHA during the 2025–26 hockey season. Students will contribute directly to the success of our association while gaining valuable real-world experience in sports management, event planning, communications, and operations. Students will receive approved work experience hours in accordance with the BC Curriculum.
