Meet Tracy – A Dedicated Hockey Mom & Volunteer Extraordinaire! 💜🏒
If you’ve been around NOMHA, chances are you know Tracy (no “e”!)—her energy, commitment, and love for the game are hard to miss!
Tracy’s hockey journey began with childhood memories at the rink watching her dad play and cheering on NHL games from home. But it truly took off in 2013 when she became a hockey parent. Just a year later, her son Kolby hit the ice as a proud NOMHA Knight, and Tracy was asked a simple question that would change everything:
👉 “Want to be our tournament coordinator?”
From there, she dove headfirst into the hockey community—never looking back.
✅ Board Secretary (2 full terms)
✅ Vice President (1.5 terms)
✅ Current Tournament Coordinator
✅ First Shift Program lead (4 times!)
✅ Team Manager, tournament planner, behind the bench & more!
Oh—and she still dreams of driving the Zamboni one day! 🧊🚜
Tracy’s not just a volunteer—she’s a cornerstone of our hockey family. Her love for the sport runs deep, but it’s the community, the friendships, and the lifelong memories that keep her coming back.
As she says:
🗣️ “Having sport in our community for our youth is extremely important—that’s why I volunteer.”
And of course…
💜 “Let’s go Purple!”
Thank you, Tracy, for everything you do. We’re so lucky to have you in the NOMHA family!
