Age Divisions

North Okanagan Minor Hockey Association (NOMHA) follows the official Hockey Canada Age Divisions. These divisions help ensure players are grouped appropriately for skill development, safety, and fun.

Players are placed into age divisions based on how old they are on December 31 of the season year. For example, for the 2025–2026 season (which runs from September 2025 to March 2026), we use your child’s age as of December 31, 2025. That means their age on the last day of 2025 determines their division for the whole season.
