Saturday night brought a special moment for our youngest players.
During the first intermission of the Vernon Vipers game against the Okotoks Oilers, our two NOMHA U7 teams took to the ice for a mini game before the ice clean.
The kids played with big smiles, fast skates, and plenty of enthusiasm. It was short, sweet, and very fun to watch. The crowd cheered loudly as our youngest Knights showed off their love of the game in front of hundreds of fans.
While the players were on the ice, NOMHA parents were busy in the stands selling 50/50 tickets. All proceeds will go toward supporting minor hockey in our community. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and helped make the fundraiser a success.
Evenings like this remind us what minor hockey is really about. Kids having fun. Families coming together. And the larger hockey community supporting the next generation of players.
