The season begins next week with some pretty big changes due to the current Covid situation. Many rule and protocol changes have been made to allow NOMHA to bring you a Hockey Program this September. Things will not be the same as in past seasons, but we hope that with the new rules in place that the Facility and our Programs will be able to continue to operate during this trying time.
There are two new forms that families must familiarize themselves with.
Both of these can be found on the Forms page of this website (nomha.com), and also should be in your email inbox.
If you did not receive it to your email please send the registrar your updated email address as it's vital we have a correct email.
The first one is the Assumption of Risk and Permission Form. This form must be completed and submitted to NOMHA before your child attends the Arena for the first time - no exceptions.
Both parents/guardians are to sign it, so please bring it completed to first practice. A NOMHA Board Member will attend the Entrance Parking Lot of all practices the first week, to ensure compliance and to collect these forms from each Player.
Please have one Parent attend the first practice if at all possible. There will be important information given from NOMHA on all of the Facility rule changes and how things will look heading in to the start of the season.
The second form is the Covid-19 Health Check form. This checklist will need to be submitted to your team and myself prior to each and every practice for the time being. The checklist ensures that you have done the required health checks for your player and are not exhibiting any symptoms on the exact date of practice. A simple cell phone photo of the completed form sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and whomever the designated person will be from your team, is essential in order for your player to attend the Arena.
There will be more info coming very soon from the Board in regards to payment of fees, and all of the Arena information and rule changes. Please keep an eye on your email inboxes and at nomha.com as everything will be posted there as well.
